Virtual Baby Shower
When I started thinking about my baby shower, I couldn’t get my mind off of wanting to celebrate with close friends and moms I respect, some of whom are scattered all over the world!
I shared this vision with Lauren and Maggie, who put together a special event today. They decided on the software to use, planned games, encouraged me to get a great dessert to enjoy, and sent party decorations to my house. Through the use of technology, I got to connect with so many of you!
The hilarity of friends drawing a picture of our baby on their foreheads without being able to see it…
And the fun baby naming game, complete with name mash-ups and Star Wars references, concluded with revealing our baby girl’s name to our close friends!
Thank you to each of you who sent your love in the form of gifts and shared your love during today’s baby shower. I am so grateful for our circle of support!
